Gozo Chemists is a pharmacy providing pharmaceutical and health care services under one roof. Centrally situated on Mgarr Road, Xewkija, with a large private parking area, its doors first opened on the 12th of January 2009 under the management of its owner, Vanessa Magro, a pharmacist by profession. It has since grown to be manned by four pharmacists, a pharmacy technician, store and service attendants, administrative assistants and student workers, and opens thirteen hours a day.

The name Gozo Chemists was thoughtfully chosen with a long-term vision: to provide Gozo with the service of chemists for at least twelve hours a day. The pharmacist — also known as the chemist — is the professional trained to provide holistic pharmaceutical care, catering for patients' health needs through advice, recommendations, referrals and point-of-care testing.
The premises were thoughtfully designed to help clients feel welcome and comfortable, while giving them the opportunity to consider it a one-stop shop. Beyond medicinal products, medical devices and supports, the pharmacy carries dietary supplements, vitamins, minerals, herbs, herbal teas and foods for specific diets, alongside a notable perfumery and a vast array of dermo-cosmetics and make-up.
Designed as a one-stop shop for health, the pharmacy brings six services together under one roof — from everyday dispensing to after-hours cover.
